AuctionsPlus is a leading online trading website and a flexible and effective way to sell your livestock.  Buyers can participate in the regular live AuctionsPlus sales from anywhere in Australia.  If you sell through AuctionsPlus you can enjoy national competition for your livestock and complete the legal change of ownership without leaving home.

How does AuctionsPlus work?

If you choose to sell your livestock through AuctionsPlus, one of our qualified assessors will help you agree a reserve price.   Your livestock are then displayed to a gallery of national buyers to help maximise the outcome of your sale.  The price achieved is ‘on property’, which means the purchaser pays the freight and there are no penalties if grid specifications aren’t met as the price is flat. 

There are five regular Cattle sales and three regular Sheep sales as well as many ’special sales’ every week.  Only registered users can bid, but registration is easy and free. 

 

There are two types of auction

 

Simultaneous Electronic Auction

These sales are not lengthy.  They start at a nominated time and conclude 60 seconds after the bidding has stopped.   All lots are selling at the same time and you can view all bidding as it is happens.  After all bidding has stopped for 60 seconds all lots are deemed ‘Sold’ (providing the reserve price is reached).

Interface Electronic Auction

This type of sale combines a traditional and online auction.  The lots are sold one at a time and the auctioneer at a physical auction controls the bidding.  All bids are transmitted to online bidders.  Any online bid is transmitted to an ‘on site’ representative who makes the bid.
